We believe that the goal of “organic life” is to keep our health, environment, and traditions in a harmonized way and that organic life balances the “egoism" of the human being and “ecology” of the earth.
It aims to realize a sustainable society that can be handed over to our future generations.
Many people might think of organic agriculture or organic produce when they hear the word “organic.” But originally it has more profound meanings such as life, original, and fundamental.
As this indicates, organic refers not only to food and agriculture but to lifestyles as a whole including education, medical care, economy, politics, and social issues. In other words, organic indicates a wide variety of themes which include ways of thinking and living.
The recent buzz word LOHAS, or Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability, is also one of the triggers to choose organic life.
- What EUOFA Proposes
There are many reasons to start organic life, depending on each individual.
Family’s health and safety might be reasons for some people, while ecology and the environment might be reasons for others. Trend, fashion, or interests in handicraft or homemade stuff could be reasons, too. Regardless of reasons, we would like the people who are interested in organic to know the information from the world and realize the importance to “think and judge by yourself.”
To act by your own judgment not influenced too much by plenty of information; to make things by yourself, not just to receive what are given to you; and to create your life with joy -
these are the clues to get back true affluence, happiness, imagination and creativity which modern people have forgotten.
People should expand their views from their own "egoism" to see “ecology” as a wider perspective including next generation and the environment.

Water shortages and pollutions become critical issues worldwide.
Many countries started to discuss how to secure safe water in the future.
Water circulates, by flowing from upstream to downstream, evaporating to the sky and falls down as rain, and sinking into the soils.
Once water is polluted, it is not easy to make it clean again, and pollution accumulates and spreads out.
In 2008, as the first year that we expand the concept of organic not just for food but for lifestyles, we propose a lifestyle to save and not pollute water, with an emphasis on importance of water as the theme of the Organic Fasta 2008.
