Marumoto Shuzou Co., Ltd.

A sake brewer founded in 1867. It has been growing the best rice breed Yamada Nishiki for sake brewing since 1987 with its business creed “sake brewery in harmony with rice growing. Its rice field locates in an area authorized by the national government as a “special zone to promote rice growing” The brewer started to work on rice growing without chemical pesticide, and was certified as an organic farmer in 2007. A wine producer in Die, the place with rich nature along the Drome River, the east of

Valle du Rhone in the southern France. It will introduce you its splendid sparkling wine. This producer has a long history in organic wine production with. This is its very first visit to Japan.


Domaine Molin a vent

A wine producer with its long history for centuries in Grave, Bordeaux. This family converted in Organic agriculture in 1963, so they are “a pioneer” in the field of organic produce. Now, their lifestyle is totally organic. Adrian, a grandson of super grandma Paulette, will come over to introduce his family’s excellent wines for the Festa this year!

The head of this family wine producer is known be an enthusiastic organic practitioner. He respects the environment, and is proud of his organic wine production considering people’s health. Very Berry Farm Ueda


This farmer, Very Berry Farm Ueda, grows various kinds of berries; blueberries, raspberries, sea buckthorns, Boysen berries, etc., and has the largest berry farm in Japan. It practices organic farming and is responsible for the whole process from production, processing and delivery.


茶工房 二の楽

Ninoraku


A tealeaf farmer. Its newly breed tealeaf called Benifuuki acquired certification of organic black and green teas under the Japan Agricultural Standard. The tea trees are grown in Ehime Prefecture, and the tealeaves are processed in a small family factory. This farmer values communicating with people, and offers a tea tasting stand, a chance to experience tealeaf production, and sells soaps using tealeaves.

An organic green tea producer in Shizuoka Prefecture using no fertilizer. Come and try nice green tea. April is the season of newly harvested green tea. Come and join volunteering to pick up tealeaves at the place with rich nature to Shizuoka!

A Pastry shop specialized in its tube cake expresses its gratitude. The shop will join the Festa four years in a row, unveiling new cake lines. Although its cakes at the Festa had been sold out before noon in previous years, all the staff are happy to prepare a lot of cakes (even they will have to work late at night right before the Festa..) so that everyone can taste its cakes!

Beniya Hasegawa

A dealer of domestically-grown millets. It compares its millets to human, saying, “unique, difficult, but has strong power to survive”. Millets have unique shapes and tastes. Not like a single grain with uniform shape and not strong flavor, millets’ tastes give tastes strongly enough to remember. The strength comes from survival and selection over centuries, and adapted to the nature of the places which shows flexibility and toughness.
